Hong Kong is one of the most overwhelming tourist destinations
in China Mainland. Most of us must have visited it with vivid image
in our minds such as Asian financial center and fantastic shopping
place.
In fact, Hong Kong has more intriguing places worth visiting
besides shopping. For instance, you can't believe it is true if I
told you the following amazing photos were taken by my phones in
Hong Kong. The views are extraordinary and totally different from
what we see in Hong Kong, aren't they?
To be honest, these photos were taken by myself when I went
hiking on the section 2 of MacLehose Trail/麦泾浩里第2段, where it
is hidden in Sai Kung/西贡
It is not easy for tourists to find such these stunning views
because there is no direct transportation at all. I had to share a
taxi with three other local people to get there, but it was
worthwhile when I saw the natural beauties on the top.
I enjoyed hiking in the forest and met a lot of locals. Three
of retired officials were so friendly that they invited me to hike
with them together.
They have been close friends for almost fifty years since they
were children. They often discover new places to hike together
after they were retired. They told me a lot secret historic stories
about Hong Kong and I also told them something new happening in
China Mainland. We walked, talked and spent two hours happily
together.
Suddenly, we were astonished to meet some wild cattle on the
roads. They told me it was commonplace to see cattle in these areas
because the cattle were well protected by local government and
people.
We had to say good bye to each other in the end, but we became
good friends on wechat and they even sent some photos to me the
following day.
Tap Mun/塔门岛 is one of small islands in Sai Kung
surrounding by ocean.
It is a good place for local people to relax themselves on
weekends. There is one small village with a ancient
temple.
It is not bad idea for tourists to walk around the island to find some quiet places to lie or sit with their lovers.

Po Toi/浦台岛
Po Toi is the only island without tap water and electricity
even though some local people live there, but still attracted many
foreign tourists.
It keeps its own primitive because it is far away from the
metropolis. We saw the highest lighthouse when we went through a
ruined village.
Fascinating beauties were stretched in the front of us when we
arrived at the summit.
There is no suitable restaurants in the island, so we had to
have a simple lunch in local families.

Unfortunately, it is often covered by mist, but it is also
very beautiful because it seems like fairy land in the mist.
We are on the way to take the examination of SAT.
Hongkong is an irreplaceable city mixing with eastern and
western cultures, so it has a lot of inimitable collections of
holidays, festivals and events. We happened to meet one of the
public holidays calledBuddha Birthday/佛旦. Local people beat
the drums happily, burnt incense, played dragon dance and
prostrated in the front of Buddha statue on the streets.

Hong Kong is also the food paradise. Tourists can try any
Chinese food or western food from all over the world.

Tourists can register their luggage in the stations of Hong Kong and Kowloon if they have bought the tickets of airport express. It is very convenient for tourists if they have heavy luggage and still want to wander around the downtown of Hong Kong after they checked out.
