Here's the chance because the Humble Administrator's Garden recently designed and new opened a new project called Kunqu Opera of private tour in the garden.

Peony Pavilion is one of the most popular traditional Kunqu Operas in China. The plot is romantic and incredible, the lyric and aria are fair-sounding, especially the make-up is so beautiful beyond expresion.

The Kunqu Opera was originally performed in the private family houses in old times, so it indeed matches Suzhou classical gardens perfectly.

It can hold a maximum limit of 60 people at a time. Audience can drink tea and taste local snacks while watching Kunqu Opera performance.

Most of the members of backstage band are the aged, who are so passionate at their roles.
