Segovia/塞哥维亚 is located at the northern of Madrid, one hour's driving away and it was listed the UNESCO World Curltural Heritage Site in 1985.

The Rome Aqueduct/罗马大渡槽 impressed me a lot because it was first built in 53 AD, what's more, it has been used as one part of urban water transportation till now.

It's highly valuable to overlook the whole city from the summit of the aqueduct.

In fact, I was attracted by Segovia Castle/塞哥维亚城堡 to visit the city.

The castle was first built in the 12th century, but it had almost been completed until 1455.

It used to be the palace and military security, but some of rooms have been preserved well for sightseeing and others become the Weapon Museum.

I don't think the museum was worth visiting and I recommend to buy the ticket only for the attic rather than the museum.

You must be familiar with the following photo, aren't you? Yes, each person was excited to see the attic of the castle, which serviced as the mode of the castle Snow White lived in Disneyland.

The cathedral stands at the center of the city from the top of the castle.

Segovia is well-known for Roast Suckling Pigs, but I didn't like it. I happened to find one small local restaurant when I came down from the castle. 

I ordered one lunch set including the shrimp with seafood, typical pudding and the tea.

Local people loved to have a cup of wine or coffee with some tapas in the restaurant.

It is enought to visit Segovia by bus in one day. I bought the round way ticket and got a little discount.
