Today is the last day of 2016 and it is valuable to review what I have achieved about my big goals including work, travel, study and life & family in the past year.

Work: I am responsible for international marketing, which aims to make much more foreign tourists know Suzhou better around the world. Suzhou FB/TW/IS international social media reaches Top3/Top1/Top4 most followed likes respectively in China in the past year.

We have hold 6 different kinds of tourism activities around America in 2016, which attracted hundreds of thousands of Americans.  it seems as if the following photos were taken in Suzhou, but they happened to be taken in some activities in America. 

We designed, organized and conducted another two big events in 2016 China-US Tourism Year. We invited almost one thousand of Americans to attend the ceremony of the memoriable experience of Suzhou waterways on Oct. 15th in Suzhou. In the meanwhile, we held one photograph collections exhibition themed as China Story - Suzhou Peotic lifestyle in Washington DC. from Dec. 29th to Nov. 5th.

Suzhou was rewarded as one of top 50 the most valuable tourist destinations in 2017 around the world by the leading tourism media, Travel + Leisure. 

Travel: I dream to travel around the world in my whole lifetime as more as possible. I traveled to Norway, Swede, Finland, Dutch and France with my son in July.  

Study: One Chinese old saying tells us it is never too old to learn and never too late to learn, which always proves to be true. I insist on listening, reading, talking and writting as possible as I can every day in order to expose myself to English native environment, but spend less time speaking aloud.

Life & family: My son indeed grows up and has his own explicit goals in the future. What's more, he is crazy about public speaking & debate and got the offer to attend American Standford University Debate & Contest in winter holidays.

He learnt to show his thanks to us on our birthdays and some important occasions.

All in all, I am very pround to almost fulfill my big goals in the past year. I would like to thank all family members, colleagues and friends and may you happy New Year when the last ring to the bell happens in Hanshan Temple tonight.
