Xintiandi and Tianzifang are very popular places for foreign and domestic tourists in Shanghai. In fact, they were local old houses before they become crowded tourist areas. 

The house as following was the place where the Communist Party of China planed to hold the first meeting, but changed to Huzhou later in 1921.

There are so many typical high-quality restaurants and leisurely tea and coffee houses in Xintiandi.

Tianzifang is a little different from Xintiandi. It has a lot of small souvenir shops along two sides of the lanes.

Many local people still live inside Tianzifang, but they are so friendly to get along well with tourists.

You will find a lot of creative and funny souvenirs if you look into the small shops one by one.

There are more traditional living style in Tianzifang comparing with Xintiandi. 

Local people stop their bikes very neatly, which looks like well-managed.
