Suzhou Scholars Hotel is actually inside 300 years' garden called Ban Garden.

Half pavilion, half satisfaction maybe happier for the own of the garden. 

山塘街

Shangtang old street with over 1100 years old witnesses many historical stories happening, which is also the best place to experience local people life style from the views of river. I recommend to take the boat from Shangtang to Tiger Hill if it is possible when you are in Suzhou.

平江路

Pingjiang Road is another old street in the downtown of old Suzhou, which is definately different from Shangtang street. Many local people still live in this area. We are enjoying local people life style when we hike on the street.
