Suzhou just likes double-sided embroidery, one side is old Suzhou and the other is new Suzhou.

Of course, SIP is the new Suzhou, which is co-operated by Chinese government and Singapore government. It is only 20 years old, moreover, all the buildings are new and modern. We can't imagine it is just located at the side of old Suzhou.

Twin buildings

Andrew is from Great Britain and he has been in Suzhou for 7 years. He likes jade carving very much so he built his workshop luring more and more counterparts from all over the world to Suzhou. He said he couldn't open his workshop without local people's help, so he loves local people very much. There are a lot of touching stories behind him and we will interview him again to write down all these stories in near future if he would like. 

Most of foreigners who work and live in Suzhou not only like Suzhou local traditional life style, but aslo enjoy high-quality west life in Suzhou.

In meanwhile, Suzhou has 2500-years-old history and rich culture. Definately, the downtown is the old Suzhou.
