古北水镇距北京约130公里，不堵车的话，1个半小时车程，由中青旅和乌镇等联手打造的北方水镇。在原有三个自然村落基础上，参照乌镇成熟景区模式，依司马台长城而改建，主要卖点以当地历史和民俗文化为观光体验，重点突出会议和度假旅游功能，游览线路主要有陆路和水路两条，一般陆路进，水路返回。沿途设有酒、染坊、风筝、烟等多个DIY体验馆，并加入全天候文化演出活动，动静结合，从内容设置上看，呆在这里1-2天绰绰有余。住宿现有各类民宿、欧式或中式，水乡或北方等特色，任游客挑选。

Gubei Water Town is about 130 Km far away from Beijing. It takes one and half hours by bus if there is no traffic jam, which is co-built by Wu Town and CYTS based on three natural village. It situates at the hillside of Si'ma'tai Great Wall. It is very different from other old towns and other Great Wall around China. It mixes multifunction of sightseeing, conferenc, leisure and vacation. There are two recommended routes. One is land and the other is water.
