The
Great Wall is one of the most important symbols in China. It was
built almost two thousands years ago in order to fight againt
enemies who wanted to invade China at that time. In fact, the Great
Wall was a big project because it was over two thousands kilometers
long and of couse, it had to be built all by people's hands. Many
people died when they built it, so there were a lot of lovely and
tragedy folk stories.
The Great Wall is becoming the most important attraction in China nowadays when it was inscribed on the world heritage list by UNESCO. It is not only the China's treasure but also to all the mankind. Vistors from all the world are very excited and suprised for such a huge and difficult project every day. They often wonder how it was built without modern machines at that time. It was reported it was the only human project which could be seen from spaceship.
Our ancestors created miracles a long time ago, so we have responsibilities to protect it for our future generations as a culture heritage site.
