I attended Suzhou TMC contest this afternoon. There were three typical contests, namely international speech, table topic speech and Mardarin speech. All contestants were from five different Toastmasters Clubs of Suzhou.

Most of speeches are very wonderful. From my viewpoint, there are some important factors related with successful speeches. First of all, the topic is the most important. Only if topic is common and attractive, the audiences would be interected and impressive. Of course it will get them big applauses. Secondly, the way how to express is also very important. How can speakers attact audiences more attention? There are some more effective methods, such as PPT, singing and so on. Thirdly, intonation, interaction with audiences and body language are very important too.

In addition, I learned a lot from speakers not only in the aspect of communication skills bus also in some fields. For example,  someone mentioned how to show our love to others in modern society and what is our dream. Maybe we are so busy working that we have no time to think about our dream. The speeches recalled us many good memories.
