I have been to Zhouzhuang many times before because of work, but I have never come here as a tourist actually. It seems if I know much more about Zhouzhuang, but it is not the fact. So I visited it with my family for our spring festival holiday this morning. We booked a local accommdation at advance in old town and decided to stay for two nights rather than sightseeing within half a day.

We take a walk at random in old town this afternoon after we checked in our hotel. I always encourage my son to try and experience different intangible culture such as sculpture, woodblock print and so on. He feels it is not easy to make them and cherishs these experences. Of course, he is very excited for what he has learnt from the tour. 

We find many interesting places when we don't hurry up. There exist many diferences between sightseeing and leisure tour. We can stop and stay for a long time if we find something interesting. We slow our steps and enjoy our trip at our wishes as possible as we can. I find Zhouzhuang has changed a lot suddently. Many different kinds of boutiques are openning around old town, which not only provide comfortable service for tourists but also attract more and more travelers.

If fact, we are very impressed by these boutiques. For example, we are suprised at what we see in the paper box shops. Almost everything is made by paper boxes such as desks, chairs, lights and so on. Tourists even can ride some toys which are also made by paper boxes. 

We can embrace Chinese traditional lunar new year's environment in Zhouzhuang. All streets and lanes are decorated with red color, even in the trees around old town. Tourists enjoy these Chinese traditional folk activities, which are very unique.
