Suzhou is one of the most famous tourist destinations in China. It is very famous for its long history and rich culture, especially for its classical gardens, so it is also named the city of garden in China, which has been listed the world cultural heritage by UNISCO.  In addition, there are a lot of different kinds of scenic spots such as water towns, grand canal, nice cuisine, wonderful shopping and so on. Futhermore, local people are very friendly and it is very safe in China. It is the best time in Spring and Autum, but it is very hot in Summer and cold in Winter.

Tourism has increased dramatically in the last thirty years. There are some reasons as follows. Firstly, economy has developed very quickly in the last past thirty years because of the reforming and openning to the world since 1978, so  there are huge demands not only in domestic tourism market but also in oversea tourism market. Of course, people can afford to travel around the world. Secondly, technology is developing and it is easy and convenient for poeple to know much more tourism infomation which they want to know. Thirdly, most of tourist destinations have maken every efforts to promote their cities.
