There is 7 hours of the time differences between London and Beijing. I awoke suddenly and watched my watch. Oh, my God, it is just 3am local time in the morning. I can’t sleep again, so I start to plan how and where we should visit firstly. I think we should go to very famous attractions at the first day, such as Westminster Cathedral, Houses of Parliament (Big Ben), Buckingham Palace.

We get up very early and have our first breakfast in a bread shop just opposite to Earl’s Court Station, where many local people enjoy their breakfasts. My son is just 12 year old, so he can buy child one-day ticket comparing to adult Oyster card, which costs only 3.2 GBP.

We go to visit House of Parliament, Westminster abbey, Green Park and Buckingham Palace this morning respectively, what’s more, Garda Change is very impressive, which is hold every day in front of Buckingham Palace from 11:30 to 12:00. We continue to visit Trafalgar square, National gallery and Piccadilly Street. It is very enjoyable when we happen to meet the activity of Canada Day which is being hold in Trafalgar square. Finally, we walk around Thames River after a simple lunch and we see several different bridges across Thames River, such as Gold Jubilee Bridge, Millennium Bridge, Southwark Bridge. We take some wonderful photos on the top floor of Tate Modern Museum and have our dinner in the fantastic old anchor, which is very popular around South Bank of Thames River. It is very late for London to get dark at night. We return to hotel at 10:00pm local time in order to see the night view of London.
