Shanghai Young Intellectuals Memorial Hall is situated at Dafeng city, Yancheng, Jiangsu province. Young Intellectuals was special word in special period of Chinese history. National government encouraged young intellectuals to go to countryside for work during China's Cultural Revolusion. Many young intellectuals went to work and live in countrysides according to national policy at that time. They came back to big cities over ten years later. Even though that special times was very arduous, it is good memory for them many years later. In order to give them such good memory, local government refreshed some functions in their old places, such as old items which they used before.
