Shanghu Lake is one of famous lakes in Suzhou, which is located at the north of Changshu county. It is very close to Yushan mountain which I mentioned yestesday, just 10 minutes by bus. Even though it is smaller than other lakes such as Taihu lake and Yangcheng lake and so on, Shanghu and Yushan are treasures of Changshu, of course, they are preserved very well. Local people and visitors would benefit from them. For example, people can breathe fresh air, enjoy beautiful environment and walk or climb to mak their body healthier. It is reported that the best quality water of Jiangsu province is in Shanghu lake, so eco-environment is very nice, which has been the home for many different kinds of birds.
