CITM 2010思考!

CITM 2010 was ended very successfully, and then we came back Suzhou yesterday afternoon. Even though we have achieved a lot, we should improve better comparing with the changing demands of tourism market development.
Firstly, CITM 2010 is the most important Tourism Exhibition in Asia, so it is the best time for tourism cities to show their tourism imagination and products. Some of our tourism products, which were showed in CITM 2010, were not well-known in market enough to attract tourists. In my opinion, we should build up two or three tourism product brands and give strong show for travel agencies and tourists, such as classical gardens, ancient water towns, Tai Lake, Gold Rooster Lake, and so on. What’s more, travel agencies should participate so that they could set up good connections with overseas and domestic travel agencies immediately.
Secondly, we should find creative promotion style and improve the pertinency of tourism information. The market dmands have been changing very quickly when tourism industry develops. For example, more and more tourists would like to travel free by themselves and pay more attentions to leisure and cultural experience. So we should adapt our tourism promotion to these changing.
Thirdly, we should extend and enlarge the effection of CITM, especially stepping up co-operations with tourism net companies, such as QQ, Lo Tour, and China Tourism News, etc. Most of tourists will search related tourism information on Internet before they decide where they will visit. So it is very important to promote our tourism products in order to attract more tourists, but the question is which net company we should choose and how we co-operate with them, which are what we should consider in the next step.
