Sichuan and Jiangsu tourism symposium was held in Shangri-La Hotel of Suzhou yesterday. Sichuan and Jiangsu are all very rich on the tourism resources and have more populations. Sichuan Province has a lot of culture and nature heritage resources, such as panda reserve area, Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, and so on. Jiangsu has Suzhou classical garden, Ming Dynasty Tomb, etc. So there must be more chances for two provincial tourism industries to be cooperated with each other.

Sichuan’s new tourism promotion slogan is “Have good fun in Sichuan”. Even though it is very simple, it is easy to be remembered. From this theme, they promoted “good sightseeing”, “good drinking”, “tasty eating”, “good playing” four topic tourism brands. And then, local travel agencies promoted the tourism products and lines. I think this kind of promotion is clear and effective.
