Even though 2010 Shanghai has been ended, some things which have been showcased in Expo will affect our daily life for a long time. I have visited Shanghai Expo for five days, and I have learned a lot from it. Here is my learning as follows.

Firstly, we can learn different culture, history, architecture from many country pavilions. Expo is a good chance for every country to showcase their country’s treasures and features. So it is also good chance to get known much more other countries. We can travel around world at the lowest price without going abroad. It can really enrich our knowledge and mind.

Secondly, we can understand the theme of Shanghai Expo, “Better city, better life”. Shanghai Expo set up five theme pavilions, which are Pavilion of Urban, Pavilion of Earth, Pavilion of Footprint, Pavilion of Ecology and Pavilion of Future. We can know not only how the city develop but also how we can make our city better and how the city can make our lives better and etc. it also tells us everyone can make our world change in our daily life.

Thirdly, we can get very useful experiences of city harness and management in Top Best Practice City. Many international cities have done well on many aspects of city harness and management. For example, London showcases its low carbon ways. There are so many opened boxes that every box introduces one problem, which they have faced and solved.

Fourthly, we can enjoy many different activities and performances in Expo. Some are fixed and some are contemporary. They are very fantastic and wonderful, such as One World Family, the Window of the City, the Expo Center, and so on.

Fifthly, we can know many new technologies from different country’s Pavilions, which is the latest currently in some countries. We can also know which life style there are in the other countries.

All in all, 2010 Shanghai Expo was over, the idea, the spirit and new technology which we have learned would affect us for ever. Let’s try our best to make our cities better, and then make our lives better only by ourselves. At last, I am looking forward to visiting the next Expo in Korea.
