Seven-mile Santang is an over one-thousand-year old street, which was made by Mr. Baijuyi when he was the mayor of Suzhou more than one thousand years ago. People can go to visit the tiger hill from ancient Suzhou along this street, the No. 1 attraction in Suzhou. It is just seven miles, so its name called seven-mile Santang.

Even though it is raining today, it is special time to visit and feel classical gardens and old towns, also including seven-mile Santang. You can choose two ways to visit Santang Street, namely, one is water line and another is land line. You will get two different feelings from these two ways. But it is better to take the boat.

I happened to take the boat to visit Santang, and took many photos from Santang River. Though the sky is grey and it rains a little, it is very beautiful from any angle. What present your eyes, including bridges, people, old houses, boats, seems like a wash picture. It is only in Santang that you will feel this is the real ancient Suzhou. If you don’t believe, you can come and see on your own eyes.
