Uluwatu has one romantic story, which is very similar to Chinese Liangzhu lovely story. Two young persons loved very much with each other, but their parents didn’t allow them to get married. They had to plunge into the sea for their love from the top of Uluwatu. Afterward, the same situations happened often, so this place was named after the lovely story.
