The first stop in Bali was Ubud, which is famous for its culture and art. When we got out of airport, I asked one taxi to take us to Ubud hotel, Casa Ganesha Hotel. One of taxi drivers looked very kindly and friendly, so we chose him. It took about one hour for us to go to my hotel, which I booked at http://www.agoda.com.cn/index.html.

The hotel is located at the south of Ubud, very near Monkey Forest, but a little far from the center. The hotel service was very excellent. Only if we asked anytime, they would take us anywhere freely. I thought it would be impossible in China.

Though the hotel looked not big, only about twenty rooms, it was very special and unique. What you could see was built by the local materials, such as stone, wood and hay. It looked very natural and ecological, which made us very comfortable and relaxing. Afterward, we knew that most of hotels were build according to the local-building style. Many local families would like to set rooms for tourists. This is the best way to know more about local culture and history, which we should learn from.
