I attended a tourism plan meeting this afternoon, which proves whether some tourism objects are appropriate to be built in Qionglong Hill，the highest hill in Suzhou. Some cultural and tourism professionals are invited to give some devices.

Cultural professionals said the objects had some conflicts with Suzhou traditional culture, even some of which had not happened in Suzhou, so it was not right to develop such the objects. But tourism professionals said the culture was permitted to change a little in order to satisfy the travelers. If it wasn’t, the culture wouldn’t be developed well, not to mention the protection. The argument was very fierce.

In my point of views, the culture is the soul of tourism industry, so when we want to develop the tourism industry, it is impossible to attract more visitors without local culture. At the same time, the tourism is the best media to show the culture, if there is no tourism industry, I think no more people will understand it and it is hard to protect and develop the culture. But we can’t see the culture on our eyes, what’s more, not all of us can understand the culture exactly, so it is the most important to create better forms to show the culture well. I think tourism planer will be responsible for it.
