Today here is something about Tangyin former residence（唐寅故居）, just nearby Tangyin ancestral temple（唐寅祠）, which was introduced yesterday. As we know, former residence is for the living, but ancestral temple is for the dying, they are not the same at all.

It is reported that Tangyin former residence is occupied by 18 families now, when you go into visit, you will feel very narrow for so many people living here, it looks so disorderly and crowdedly.

In the front of the former residence, you can see one pond, which was often mentioned in the Tang’s poems and drawings, its name is the double lotus flower ponds, it is very pity that only one has been remained, the other had been destroyed many years ago.
