语法点归纳

1.      Most of svo/svoo/svoc patterns can be made passive.

2.      Not all the active sentences cab be made passive .

3.      When used transitively. Phrasal verbs can be made passive.

4.      English verbs have three non-finite forms: the infinitive ,the –ing participle ,and-ed participle ,of which the first two many occur in the passive.

5.      The use of the passive is determined by many factors. The following may sever as a general guide: 

A , the passive voice is used when we are more interested in the event itself than in the agent

b. the passive is used when the agent is unknown or when we wish to make a statement sound impersonal perhaps out of modesty an tectfulness.

C . the passive is used and the agent with “by” is expressed when we wish to stress the doer of the action.
