Unit 1 My New Teachers

PEP小学英语(五年级上册)

一、教学内容:

A. Read and write 

二、教学目标:

1. 知识目标

能读懂A. Read and write中的对话,并根据提示填充句子或回答问题。

能够听、说、读、写四会掌握句子:Who’s your English teacher? Mr Carter. What’s he like? He’s tall and strong.

2. 能力目标

能够询问并介绍学校里教师的情况,如:Who’s your English teacher? Mr Carter. What’s he like? He’s tall and strong.

能读懂A. Read and write中的对话,并能在情景中熟练运用。

能够掌握英语朗读和阅读理解的一些小技巧。

3 情感目标

情感态度:根据小学高年级阶段学生的特点,引导他们在英语学习过程中更大限度地发挥自主学习能力,积极主动地进行英语学习,更好地激发他们英语学习的兴趣。

学习策略:学习过程中注意培养学生合作学习的态度和方法,培养学生合作学习的意识。

三、重点难点:

1. 本课重点掌握四会句子,要求学生能在相似情景中正确运用。重点强调这些四会句子的规范书写。

2. 本课重难点是英语朗读技巧和篇章阅读及正确完成相关阅读理解练习。

四、课前准备:

1. 教师准备本课时所需的人物图片和词、句条。

2. 课件。

五、教学流程:

Step 1 Warm-up and Revision

1. Greetings.

2. 结合单词卡片复习所学的四会单词。

3. 百变教师:课件呈现不同教师的图片,结合所学句型,描述该教师。如:

TWho’s your math teacher?

Ss: Miss Li..

T: What’s she like?

Ss: She’s tall and thin.

Step 2 Lead in.

1.课件呈现本班教师照片,师生谈论本班新老师而引出本课时教学内容。教师介绍说:Zhang Peng has three new teachers this term. Who are they? Let’s go and have a look!

Step 3 Presentation

A. Read and write

视听和文本整体呈现,在听Read and write部分的过程中,教师把重点的四会句子粘贴在黑板上并领读,教师指导学生写四会句子。

⑵教师引导学生理解下列两个知识点。

Mike . CarterMr Carter.   Mike’s wifeMrs Carter   Mike’s daughterMiss Carter. Mike’s sonMr Carter

like

      介词,像… What’s he like? (他像什么样的人?)

                 Jim is like his father. (吉姆长得像他的父亲。)

                 Like father, like son. (有其父必有其子。)

      动词,喜欢 I like apples. (我喜欢吃苹果。)

                 I like watching TV. (我喜欢看电视。)

⑶教师呈现英语朗读小技巧,然后引导学生按步骤正确朗读课文。

温馨提示:

英语朗读小技巧:

步骤1朗读欣赏若干遍:只听,请不要跟读,注意各个单词的发音,单词间的连读,句子的停顿,语调等。
步骤2朗读模仿跟读若干遍。
步骤3自己先以较慢的速度朗读若干遍,不要求快,要注意质量。
步骤4以正常的速度跟着该篇文章再朗读若干遍直至你感觉到非常流畅为止。

step 1  First, just listen.Pay attention to the pronunciation.

Step 2  Imitate several times.

Step 3  Read the text slowly by yourself.

Step 4  Follow the tape ,read the text until you can read it well.

⑷教师指导学生分小组续写对话。

T: Zhang Peng has three new teachers. A science teacher, an art teacher and an English teacher. Mr Carter is his English teacher. He’s tall and strong. But what about the science teacher and the art teacher? Can you continue the dialogue?Please work in groups and act it out.

Step 4 Consolidation and extension

教师引导学生阅读课文并理解其义,再让学生完成相关的阅读练习。

阅读理解小技巧

步骤1首先要看短文后的问题,做到大体了解,然后带着问题通读全文。

步骤2把与短文后问题相关的单词,句子划出来。

步骤3认真理解与问题相关的其他信息,做出准确的分析判断。

step 1 First, read the questions of the text,then read the text.

Step 2 Find out the words and sentences about the questions.

Step 3 Understand the information of the questions correctly. Finally, make an exact decision.

Read and write “T” or “F”

Read and choose.

Mr Wang is one of the best teachers. He is a Chinese teacher. He is from Qichun, Hubei. What’s he like? Look. He has white hair. He is tall and thin. He looks old. But hes only forty-seven years old. Mr Wang likes his job. He is very kind to his students. He often helps them. The students like Mr Wang, and Mr Wang likes them, too.
