I proud of my motherland-China

　　Hello, everybody! Today I'm very happy to make a speech here. And today my topic is" I proud of my motherland-China."

　　There is one country in the bottom of my heart, and I will be proud of her forever, that's China---my motherland! Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name- Chinese. And since that day, I have known a beautiful sentence "I love you China, and I'm proud of being a Chinese."

　　My motherland is standing in the east of the world .She has red soil , big mountains, long rivers and hardworking people ,she is just like a diamond ,shinning all the time , and she is my dearest country.

　　I proud of my motherland.  Because it has a long history, and in my country there has many minority nationalities. Each minority nationality has it own culture.  My country has so many great places of interest ,which is known not only to every Chinese, but also to the world .When the foreigners talk about China ,they all say that "China is a famous and fantastic country ! "That' s right! Because we have the Great Wall, the world's second longest river, as we all know, China is one of the largest countries in the world.

　　I proud of my motherland. Because now Chinese use commonly in the world. Many foreigners are learning Chinese in their spare time. And Chinese is a language which is becoming more and more popular in the world. Now lots of people think that Chinese is the most beautiful language in the world.

　　I proud of my motherland. Do you remember the day when Samaranch, the former president of the international Olympic Committee, declared that Beijing be the host city of 2008 Olympic games? I never forget it. It was an unusual day for us. Last year, we held the 2008 Olympic games. I think it was the beautiful, succeed and wonderful. Lots of volunteers gave their hands to the people who were in trouble. And athletes tried their best to make good progress during the games.

　　China is great. China is wonderful. China is making amazing progress. China is changing every day. We are all from China. Let's be proud of who we are. Let's love our motherland.
