诗（一） Sleeping Child                熟睡的孩子

The milky way upon the heavens            天国中的银河

Is twinkling just for you                 正为你闪烁

And mr. moon he came by                   月亮先生他滑过窗前

To say goodnight to you                   轻轻对你道声晚安

I'll sing for you i'll sing for mother    我要为你歌唱，为母亲歌唱

We're praying for the world               让我们合十祈愿

And for the people everywhere             为所有的人和整个世界

Gonna show them all we care               让全世界的人都了解 我们的关切

也许我们的心事

结果还是错

也许我们点着一个个灯笼

又被大风一个个吹灭

也许燃尽生命烛照亮别人

身边却没有取暖之火

土地更加肥沃

也许为太阳歌唱

也被太阳歌唱着

也许肩上越重

信念越是巍峨

也许为一切苦难疾呼

对个人的不幸只好沉默

也许由于一个不可抗拒的召唤

我们没有了其他的选择
