晚上随便逛了下其他人的博客，点进一个主页，竟然有不小的收获。背景音乐感觉歌词听着很熟悉，但是调子却很清新，一查找页面上的音乐播放器发现居然是Elton John的Your Song. 不过听到的是一个叫Ellie Goulding的歌手翻唱的版本，整首歌调子大有改变，而歌词也有所修改。

Your Song这首歌是Elton John的成名作之一，1969年Elton曾凭借这首歌第一次挤身于英美流行榜前10名。Your Song同时也是一首十分经典的情歌，在各大情歌排行榜里也占有一席之地。这首歌歌词写的很美，诗一般的意境。听着Elton John唱的很抒情，不过自己学着唱则巨难听。可惜不会英语，用美语唱这首英伦经典感觉听着也不是那么回事。

翻唱这首歌的Ellie Goulding是一个刚出道的英格兰歌手（居然比我还小一岁），之前没怎么听过，好像是人气较高的新人。翻唱的Your Song整个曲调与原来大相径庭，歌词上差不太多，略有改动。感觉翻唱版在停顿和强调方面有一种特别的清新感和顿挫感，即在每句最后一个词特别的用了变音。熟悉的歌词，清新的曲调，听着感觉很不错。

另外，这首歌最有意思的一个细节是有句“but boy if I did”，乍看上去怎么会用boy不用girl，而且与后面的“a man who makes potions in a travelling show”相矛盾.后来有一次和一个伦敦的朋友谈起了Elton John和这首歌，才知道Elton原来是gay，这一切也就make sense了。

在这个美语爆炸的年代，听听英伦之音还是挺清新惬意的。
