Top of my list of sights to see in Doha was the Museum of Islamic Art – I literally fell in love with the building and just had to make time to experience it.
Designed by Chinese American
architect L.M Pei and opened in 2008, the imposing building with
beautiful lines and smooth facades lies on an island, just off the
Corniche.

The Museum of Islamic Art really
comes to life at night and it becomes a shining beacon on the Doha
harbour.
