My dear chinese friends:

A warm regards from Tunisia, I offically accepted today to be the Godfather of the Paris Chinese Film Festival. A good occasion for me to meet more chinese friends and to look at as many chinese movies as I can, get familiar with the work of more actors and directors. It will be warming up my mind on directing the coming film project Wolf Totem! Among other news I miss you all and look forward to get back to China soon, working there and knowing there......

     今天，我很荣幸地正式接受了巴黎中国电影节的邀请担任该电影节的“荣誉主席”。其实，对我来说这是一个很好的时机来让我相识更多的中国朋友，看足够多的中国电影，并熟悉更多中国演员和中国导演的工作。对于马上要执导“狼图腾”的我来讲，这将是一次“热身”！在这些消息中，其中有一条很重要，那就是我想念你们所有人，并希望尽早回到中国开始工作和感知。。。。。。
