姓名：邵亦波。绰号：大头神童（请记者朋友们炒作的）、宝贝（老婆高兴时） 、邵亦波！（老婆生气时）

1973年生于上海。建襄小学。华东师大二附中。拿了好多全国数学比赛一等奖。1991以全额奖学金跳级进入哈佛大学 ，号称是中国解放后第一个。（应该是真的，虽然当年有另外一个同学跟我一起去）

波士顿咨询集团(The Boston Consulting Group)。高盛投资银行(Goldman Sachs，其实只是summer associate晃了一圈）。哈佛商学院（第一年成绩优异，第二年大幅下滑，但获得了老婆的芳心）。

1999年回国创建易趣网。哈佛同学谭海音暑假回国加入（没有她我单枪匹马才干不起来呢）。2002成为中国最大电子商务网站（不算b-to-b）。2003年如日中天，eBay 高价收购（现在看是不是卖便宜了？谁知道。）

2003年底由于家庭原因（真的）搬去美国。遥观易趣。焦急，生气，伤感，心痛。老婆也心痛，骂道，“公司已经卖了，你吃饱了撑得”？ 我摸摸鼻子，继续给女儿换尿布。

2006年中，与Mark Lotter 和肖耿民一起创建NovaMed。

2006年底，与王怀南一起创建BabyTree。

2007年初，加入美国Matrix Partners，兼职，成为合伙人。

2007年中，投资一网络公司（秘密），并成为董事长。

2008年初，成立经纬中国（Matrix Partners China），成为管理合伙人。

Bo Shao is a Managing Parterns of Matrix China, a General Partner at Matrix Partners US, a Co-Founder and Chairman of NovaMed Pharmaceuticals, and a Co-Founder of BabyTree. NovaMed is engaged in research, development and sales of innovative pharmaceutical products in China, and aims to build a multinational pharmaceutical company taking advantage of unique Chinese opportunities. BabyTree focuses on using web technologies to enable a new generation of Chinese parents – 34 million new parents each year – to connect with and help each other in the daunting but rewarding task of parenting.

Prior to his current positions, Mr. Shao was the founder and CEO of EachNet, which became the dominant consumer e-commerce company in China and was acquired by eBay in 2003 in a landmark transaction. Prior to EachNet, Mr. Shao worked at the Boston Consulting Group and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Shao holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, summa cum laude, in physics and electrical engineering from Harvard College. Mr. Shao was born in China and was a winner of national mathematics competitions over a dozen times during high school.

Mr. Shao is a recognized young business leader in China and the recipient of awards in China and abroad, including the Forum of Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum and Entrepreneur of the Year 2003 by Asian Venture Capital Journal. He is a trustee of Give2Asia and Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association.
