人生的意义是什么？这是一个永恒的话题。一千个人眼中有一千个哈姆雷特，每个人都有自己的答案，而且每个人的答案都基本反映了他们各自的核心价值观。

(What’s significance of life? This is a forever topic. There is one thousand Hamlets in one thousand eyes, everyone has their own answers, moreover everyone’ answers both basically reflect their own core values.)

我的人生意义是什么了？当我刚刚来到这个世上的时候，我没有为这个世界带来什么，而我希望我离去的时候，我能为这个世界留下大量宝贵的精神财富。而要做到这一点，我就需要为家人、朋友、公司和社会多做贡献，因为人的价值来源于贡献。

(What’s significance of my life? When I just came to this world, I brought nothing to this world, while I hope that when I leave this world, I can leave a great deal of precious spiritual fortunes for this world. For realizing this goal, I just should make contributions for my families、friends、companies and society, because people’s values stem from contributions.)

不过欲助人者先自助，在你帮助别人之前，你的至少避免过度的依赖别人，达则兼济天下，穷则独善其身，说的就是这个道理。所以我们要努力追求财产、地位和名誉，但是不要沉溺于此，因为这些东西只是帮助你实现目标的工具，他们并不是目标本身，而且他们只存在于今生，即使你积攒再多也不能带到来世去。

(But you should help yourself before you help others, before you help others, at least you should avoid depending others excessively, when you are successful, you should make contributions for the world, when you are poor, you should improve yourself, it’s just this reason. So we should try our best to pursue property、status and fame, but we shouldn’t be addicted to them. Because these things only are tools that help you to realize your goals, they aren’t goals, what’s more, they only exist in this life, even if you accumulate a large amount of these things, you still can’t bring them to the future world.)

真正永存的东西是你的价值，也就是精神财富，也许有人会说，我们也可以为世界为留下大量的物质财富，但是精神财富的存在时间要比物质财富长得多，而且物质财富最终也将转变为精神财富。

(Thing that lasts forever is your value, namely spiritual fortune, somebody maybe say, we also can leave a great deal of material wealth for this world, but the lasting time of spiritual fortune is far longer than that of material fortune, moreover material fortune finally will become spiritual fortune.)

好像有这样一个现象，随着年龄的增长和时间的推移，“我”、“我们”、“国家”和“全世界”将会依次出现在我们心中，比如说一个伟大的商人，他小时候以自我为中心，尽力争取自己想要的东西，而没有考虑别人的需要，这时他的心中只有“我”；慢慢长大后，自己开了公司，满足顾客迫切的需求，使自己的父母过上更好的生活，这时他的心中有了“我们”；随后公司越做越大，他利用自己的资金促进自己国家基础设施的建设，投资本国的科技产业和教育产业促进本国科技水平和教育水平的提高，这时他的心中有了“国家”；最后他的公司发展成为一家跨国企业，他开始热衷于慈善事业，支持世界各地人民的抗灾斗争，改善落后国家人民的生活水平，最后他的心中有了“全世界”。

(As if I see a kind of phenomenon, with increasing of age and passing of time, “I”、”We”、”nation” and “world” will appear in my heart successively, for example a great businessman, he only cared himself in his childhood, and struggled to acquire things that he wanted, but he didn’t consider others’ needs, only “I” existed in his heart in this period; when he grew up slowly, he established his own company in order to meet customers’ urgent demands and make his parents live a better life, “We” existed in his heart in this period; with development of company, he used his own capitals to promote national infrastructure construction, and invested national science and technology industry and education industry for enhancing national level of science technology and education, “Nation” existed in his heart in this period; Ultimately his company became a multinational enterprise, he started to devote himself to philanthropy, and supported people’s anti-calamity fight in the world, and improved people living level of behindhand countries, at last, “World” existed in his heart in this period.)

上述的例子是个商人，不过他也有可能是政治家、艺术家、文学家等等。不过上述的例子是一个很理想的情况，因为大部分人都不会走完整个流程，有些人甚至到“我”这个阶段就戛然而止了，如果这样，他的人生价值几乎没有。而伟人们应该就是心中装有“全世界”的人，所以他们有着很高的人生价值，不过他们不是一出生就很伟大，他们也是这样一步步“进化””过来的。

(The protagonist of above-mentioned example is a businessman, but he also probably can be politician、artist and man of letters and so on. However, above-mentioned example is a very perfect situation, because the majority of people can’t go through entire process, somebody even stop in “I” phase, if so, they almost have nothing values. While great people should have hearts filled with “World”, so they have very high life values, but they aren’t born to great persons, they also evolve in this process step by step.)

但不是每个人都能成为伟人，我们也没有义务一定要变成伟人，但是至少我们要到达“我们”这个阶段，因为在这个时候，我们开始活得有价值，即当我们从利己之心转变到利他之心后，我们的人生价值出现了。

(But not everyone both become great persons, we also aren’t obligate to become great persons, but we should arrive “We” phase at least, because we start to live with values in this period, namely, we start to benefit others from benefit ourselves, our life values appear.)

我现在应该是处于“我们”这个阶段，我是一名营销人，我要为公司制定极佳的市场营销计划，来提高公司产品的销量，扩大公司品牌的知名度，并提升企业形象。同时我也在努力赚钱以便尽快让父母和我未来的女友（我现在没有女朋友）过上更好的生活。我的一生将向“全世界”这个阶段不断前进。

(Nowadays I probably should lie in “We” phase, I am a marketing person, I should create very good marketing plan for company in order to enhance sales volume of company products, enlarging awareness of company brand, and enhance enterprise image. Simultaneously I am making great efforts to earn money in order to let my parents and future girlfriend (I don’t have girlfriends now) live a better life as soon as possible. I will go forward “World” phase continuously in my life.)

就像我在第一段所说的，你人生的意义可以反映你的核心价值观，而我的核心价值观—价值来源于贡献就指明了我人生的意义：勤勤勉勉的经营自己，孜孜不倦的修炼自己，多做贡献，有价值的活着。

(Just like my saying in the first paragraph, your life meaning can reflect your core value, while my core value—values are derived from contributions just indicates my life significance: operating myself assiduously, cultivating myself continuously, making more contributions, living a valuable life.)
