If I were an engineer

Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

I have a dream of becoming an engineer like my father.

As we all know, my hometown - Wuhan is called the heroic city and makes us a deep impression.

However, the city is also known as the central city of design.

Wuhan is a world leader in engineering design fields,  such as electric power, river-crossing bridges and high-speed rails , etc.

I’m proud to be a member of the Power Design Family.

My grandparents and dad are all work for a famous electrical design institute.

They have been researching an Ultra-high-voltage（UHV）transmission technology for a long time.

UHV refers to AC 1000 kV and DC ±(positive/negative)800 kV and above transmission technology.

Surely it has many advantages such as long transmission distance, large capacity, high efficiency, and low loss.

Therefore, I have a strong interest in science classes since childhood.

Among them, my favorite is the bulb circuit test.

When the battery is connected and the switch is closed, my eyes are shining at the moment for the bright bulb.

I hope that one day, like my father, I can send the light to thousands of families in our country.

Under my design, megawatts of clean power can be instantly sent from the northwest to the developed East China,

travel thousands of miles away .

Under the guidance of low-carbon green, engineering design has played an important role in our country's energy construction.

Engineer is an ordinary profession, but its contribution is great.

Let’s work together and witness the birth of many miracles.

#12岁男孩身高1米9爸爸站桌上测量#12岁身高就超过1.9米了，他父母身高都挺高的，老话说得好，爹高高一个，娘高高一窝，就身边来看，妈妈高的，子女不会矮。现在的小孩营养足，身高发育都挺好的，都比较高。1月2日，河南郑州，张先生称，最近突然觉得孩子个子窜的有点快，就给孩子量个身高，结果有1.91米。张先生说，平常也没给孩子吃啥特别的东西，就是肉食多一些。孩子今年12岁，刚上初一，这个身高确实挺高的了，自己都得仰脸看他。不过自己也有一米8，觉得也很正常。郑州短讯↑

（据英国广播公司20230102报道，非洲加纳的一名男子身高达到2.89米，走到哪里都会吸引人们关注的目光。这名巨人名叫萨姆德，今年29岁，居住在加纳北部，他在当地一家医院体检时测出2.89米的身高。当时负责测量身高的护士惊讶地喊来同事，因为萨姆德的身高比测量仪器还高，他们只能自制了一个加长杆测量其身高，因此该数值不一定准确。萨姆德在当地小有名气，不少人慕名来见萨姆德。此前他被诊断出患有巨人症。不过，在医生看来，萨姆德的巨人症是一种疾病，除了给生活带来不便，不断增长的身高还会压迫他的脊椎，对心脏也不好，最好通过脑部手术来阻止他继续生长，因此萨姆德需要筹集足够的费用进行治疗。如果他的身高数据准确，那么他比目前 吉尼斯世界纪录保持者、土耳其的苏丹·科塞还高，科塞的身高为2.47米。
