Arrival in France at CDG airport– Welcome by France Golf Tours – Transfer to Deauville
Deauville, lady of the French coast, its most glamorous seaside
resort, symbolizes elegance, prestige and sophistication. This 5
000 dwellers sea side town has been a fashionable place since one
century. Its lovely harbor has become an international meeting
centre for all sorts of pleasure boats. In addition of being a
terrific place for shopping, Deauville is also famous for its
beaches, casino and magnificent race-track.

Overlooking Deauville’s bay, players putt under the windows of the
Grand Hotel at Deauville Golf, an old and challenging course
designed by Tom Simpson.
A large variety of trees such as oak, elm, ash, apple trees (symbol
of the Calvados country) surrounds the fairways, where remain some
piece of wall of the Marquis de Lassay’s castle.
Deauville is one of the most exclusive golf course in Normandy
where many foreign golfers come from all over the world to enjoy
golf, relax and …gambling at the famous casino.
Visit of Honfleur and its famous painters’port, with its colourful fishing boats and timber-beamed houses, which has been a haven for artists since the beginning of the impressionist period.

Château de Breuil is one of the finest examples of the region's

The Château de Breuil stands proud amidst a vast parkland with

Built in the 16th-17th centuries, many a noble family has resided
there, such as the Bouquetots, the Montgomerys, the Bences…
Today, the Château de Breuil is also one of the region's most
prestigious Calvados distilleries (established in 1954). It offers
visitors guided tours and vintage Calvados tasting sessions every
day of the year.

Golfers:
Situated at the top of Etretat’s cliffs and overlooking the
worldwide known natural arches in the cliffs (Aiguille Creuse),
this outstanding golf course is considered as one of the most
spectacular in Europe.
Like all the authentic links, Etretat Golf Course offers windy
conditions and dreadful gorse surrounding some of the fairways
requiring long and straight iron shots, which represent a tough
challenge for the golfers. Even though you have reached the green,
the difficulties remain with the up and down slopes and the
flagsticks bending in the gusts.

Visit of Arc de Triomphe
Commissioned by Napoleon to commemorate the victorious French Army,
the Arc de Triomphe has been a defining symbol of Paris ever since
completion in 1836. Engraved on the arch are numerous names of
important and not-so-important victories and beneath it lies the
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Visitors can reach the 50m-tall
(164ft) top of the arch for stunning views of Paris, including the
Louvre and the Champs-Elysées, or tour the museum inside which
charts the history and construction of the arch.

The Champs-Elysées is considered to be one of the most elegant
boulevards in the world, since it was developed in 1667. It used to

with luxury boutiques and expensive cafés.

Guided tour of Château de Versailles
At the origin, the Château de Versailles was a hunting lodge used
by Louis XIII, father of the Sun King, Louis XIV who made
Versailles his residence in the second part of the 17th century.
This royal palace features splendid apartments as well as
magnificent gardens which are a perfect example of French landscape
gardening. Louis XIV was very fond of architecture and among other
parts, ordered Le Grand Trianon, a long Italian palace with its
columns. The mirror gallery, recently restored, and the king’s room
remain places not to be missed. Versailles was the political
instrument and theatre of Louis XIV. The monarchy was represented
at every level and all the organization was based on the king
personality, sun of the Versailles universe.

Chantilly golf course is a real challenge for golfers.
Designed by one of the best golf architect in the beginning of the
century, Tom Simpson, Chantilly hosted 10 times the French Open
(part of the European PGA) in the eighties with world class
champions such as Nick Faldo winner of the 1989 edition when he was
at his top.
The world’s best players (including Bobby Jones) have played at
Chantilly, French counter part of the Royal and Ancient, and all of
them have suffered on terrible roughs comparable to those in the

Visit of Château de Chantilly Musée Condé
Raising from the river, the Château de Chantilly stands at the
heart of a vast domain covering 7 800 hectares, located in one of
the largest forests near Paris. The Château and estate were built
by the owners of Chantilly since the Middle Ages.
It includes in the Renaissance section of the castle, the chambers
of the Prince of Condé appear (17th to 18th centuries) and in the
section rebuilt by the Duke d’Aumale, the son of the King
Louis-Philippe, one finds his collection of paintings.
The Château de Chantilly has one of the finest museums of
historical paintings in France (after the Louvre in Paris),
(Raphaël, Poussin, Watteau, Ingres, Delacroix), and a library well
stocked with rare and precious books and manuscripts.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRICES
Prices are based on currency exchange rate at the time of printing
and are subject to adjustments according to the currency exchange
rate at the time of booking.
2.
RESERVATIONS
All reservations must be made in writing (letter, fax, e-mail) and
become valid once the client has signed an order form.
3.
PAYMENT
Payment will be done as follows :
* 20% down with the reservation
* The remainder 45 days before arrival date
If the registration is done less than 45 days before arrival date,
the full price is due immediately.
4.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations by the client must be in writing to France Golf Tours
and are subject to the following forfeit of cost per person :
* Cancellation 45 days or more before arrival date : 20% of the
package value
* Cancellation between 45 and 30 days before arrival date : 50% of
the package value
* Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival date : 100% of the
package value
5.
MODIFICATIONS
Any modifications asked for by the client less than 45 days before
arrival date will only be possible if the various service providers
(hotels, restaurants, golf clubs) are able to comply. Otherwise,
any requested modifications could be considered as a cancellation
and would be subject to the above mentioned cancellation
policy.
6.
LIABILITY
France Golf Tours will not assume responsibility for any delay or
damage to or loss of property or injury to or death of persons due
to transportations (rental car, motor coach, railroad, air flight,
or any other conveyances), or due to suppliers (accommodations,
golf courses, restaurants), or due to any other external reasons
(strikes, weather conditions, etc).
7.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE AND CLAIMS
If, during the stay, any of the service providers (hotels,
restaurants, golf clubs, châteaux….) do not meet the programmed
standards, the client must require of the service provider a
downgrade or non provided service certificate or, lacking the
above, the client must submit a written claim to France Golf Tours
within 30 days of the end of the stay.
Any claims not respecting this protocol will not be admitted.
There will be no refunds for any unused portions of the
package.
8.
PLAYING GOLF
The client acknowledges having the necessary golf skills for
playing on the programmed courses.
The client plays golf on the course solely under his own
responsibility towards others and equipment.
France Golf Tours can not be held responsible if the golf course
can not be used because of weather conditions or a tournament
organized by the golf club.
