另类高尔夫定律（第一部分）

LAW 1: No matter how bad your last shot was, the worst is yet to come. This law does not expire on the 18th hole, since it has the supernatural tendency to extend over the course of a tournament, a summer and, eventually, a lifetime.

定律一：不管你上一杆打的有多差，下一杆都会更差。这一定律并不会在第18洞失效，因为它具有某种超自然的倾向，会让该定律延长到整场比赛，整个夏季，更有甚者，人的一生。

LAW 2: Your best round of golf will be followed almost immediately by your worst round ever. The probability of the latter increases with the number of people you tell about the former.

定律二：你每出现一轮最好表现，马上将遭遇最差一轮成绩。并且，最差成绩出现的概率随着你把最好表现告诉别人的数量而增加。

LAW 3: Brand new golf balls are water-magnetic. Though this cannot be proven in the lab, it is a known fact that the more expensive the golf ball, the greater its attraction to water.

定律三：全新的高尔夫球具有亲水性。虽然这一现象难以在实验室被证实，但一个无需争论的事实是越贵的高尔夫球亲水性越强。

LAW 4: Golf balls never bounce off of trees back into play. If one does, the tree is breaking a law of the universe and should be cut down.

定律四：高尔夫球在碰到树木以后从不会弹会球道。如果出现例外情况，则是那棵树违背了这一定律，应该被砍掉。

LAW 5: No matter what causes a golfer to muff a shot, all his playing partners must solemnly chant "You looked up".

定律五：不管一个球手击球失误的真正原因是什么，他的同组都会郑重其事的喊“你抬头了”。
