Lesson Seventy-four David’s thankful heart

⁶ When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor. David said, "Mephibosheth!" "Your servant," he replied. "Don't be afraid," David said to him, "for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table." ⁸ Mephibosheth bowed down and said, "What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?" ⁹ Then the king summoned Ziba, Saul's servant, and said to him, "I have given your master's grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family. ¹⁰ You and your sons and your servants are to farm the land for him and bring in the crops, so that your master's grandson may be provided for. And Mephibosheth, grandson of your master, will always eat at my table." (Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.) ¹¹ Then Ziba said to the king, "Your servant will do whatever my lord the king commands his servant to do." So Mephibosheth ate at David's table like one of the king's sons. ¹² Mephibosheth had a young son named Mica, and all the members of Ziba's household were servants of Mephibosheth. ¹³ And Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, because he always ate at the king's table, and he was crippled in both feet.

all the land 是restore 的宾语，因为后面有个从句 that，所以置后。

基督徒本应该是一个懂感恩的群体，或许外界人会如此认为，但是，很多的基督徒是最不懂感恩的，这些人来到耶稣的面前，只是要得到一些好处，一旦得到了好处，就转眼去谋自己的私利，一个私利接一个私利。大卫在这里向我们表明了真正的感恩。他要感恩的对象是扫罗和约拿单，但扫罗对他十分恶劣，几乎要了他的命，而约拿单已经不在人世，大卫大可给约拿单修一座好的坟墓就可心安理得了，但是他做得超出了自己的该做的，为约拿单的儿子尽力，真应了中国那句古话，滴水之恩当涌泉相报。大卫的感恩落实在对具体的人物上，而不是仅仅说，我在服事神。今天耶稣为我们钉了十字架，我们当回报主耶稣，同时，在我们成长的过程中，我们受惠于他人，我们有没有具体地去感恩？把对神的感恩落实在“爱邻居”？

 大卫恩待约拿单的儿子

扫罗的孙子、约拿单的儿子米非波设来见大卫，伏地叩拜。大卫说：“米非波设！”米非波设说：“仆人在此。”大卫说：“你不要惧怕，我必因你父亲约拿单的缘故施恩与你，将你祖父扫罗的一切田地都归还你，你也可以常与我同席吃饭。”米非波设又叩拜，说：“仆人算什么，不过如死狗一般，竟蒙王这样眷顾！”王召了扫罗的仆人洗巴来，对他说：“我已将属扫罗和他的一切家产，都赐给你主人的儿子了。你和你的众子、仆人，要为你主人的儿子米非波设耕种田地，把所产的拿来供他食用；他却要常与我同席吃饭。”洗巴有十五个儿子，二十个仆人。洗巴对王说：“凡我主我王吩咐仆人的，仆人都必遵行。”王又说：“米非波设必与我同席吃饭，如王的儿子一样。”米非波设有一个小儿子名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家里的人，都作了米非波设的仆人。于是米非波设住在耶路撒冷，常与王同席吃饭。他两腿都是瘸的。撒母耳记下9：6-13
