1.       Go to show: make clear说明白

例如：

That car wreck goes to show everything.

那辆车的残骸说明了一切。

2. As a matter of fact: in reality事实上

例如：

As a matter of fact, I don’t like her very much either.

事实上，我也不喜欢她。

3. Pick on: criticize insistently挑毛病

例如：

His parents always picked on him for being sloppy.

4. Get a rise out of: induce a reaction使有所反应

例如：

He was so tired that nothing could get a rise out of him.
