而且深受老百姓的喜爱;

The India poet on the bank of Ganges
River
Wang
Jingzheng
Many centuries ago,
On the bank
of Ganges River,
Two India
poets met,
And they
were glad to see one another.
And one poet asked the other saying,"
What have
you composed recently,
And how goes
it with your lyric poem?”
And the
other poet answered and said with pride,"
I have just
now finished the greatest of my poems,
And the
greatest poem yet written in English
That is the
official language!
The general
idea of this poem is an invocation
To most
lofty King of India!
Perchance
this poem would distant source
And long
stream just as Ganges River!
--of long
standing and well established."
Here,
behold, I have it with me,
And I would
be willing to read it to you,
Come , let
us sit on the bank of Ganges River…”
And the poet read his poem, and it was a long poem.
And the
other poet said in kindliness:"
This is a
great poem. It will be praised by King!
And in it
you shall be had a meteoric rise!
Of course,
your original intention of creation
Is the
limitless loyal to King,
As well the
ardently love to your motherland!"
And the first poet said with self﹣satisfied calmly:"
It is
certainly! And what have you been writing these late days?
And the
other another,"I have written but little.
Only very
few eight lines in Sanskrit of Hindi
That in
remembrance of boat tracker on the bank of Ganges River.
And
he recited the lines.
The first
poet said,"Not so bad, not so bad!"
Then they
parted.
And now after two centuries,
The eight
lines of the one poet are read in every tongue,
And known to
every household,
And are
loved and cherished by civilians.
And though
the other poem has indeed come down
Through the
ages in the history museum of imperial family,
And in the
version of present age that is used to
Sing the
praises of statesman mostly.
And though
it is remembered,
It is
neither loved nor read…
The reason is very easy--
For people
considered that
The boat
tracker is more press close to themselves life;
And the
Sanskrit of Hindi is an eternal song of praise
That is
composed on the bank of Ganges River
By the
mother tongue of Indian!

Is not being apart while being in love
