教学设计与反思

一、教学目的(Teaching aims)

1、通过谈论彼此的特长与爱好,培养一种群体意识。

2、学会在新的语境中运用新学的语言知识。

过程与方法

通过实践让学生体验学习英语的乐趣,并能勇于展示自己的才能。通过小组活动谈论彼此的特长与爱好。

二、教材分析(Text analysis)

(一)教学重点(Teaching important points)

1、学习重点词汇:guitar,chess,join,paint,dance,speak,swim,sing,can’t=can not

2、掌握情态动词can的肯定句和否定句,一般疑问句及肯定,否定回答。

 (二)教学难点(Teaching difficult points)

1、使用情态动词can表示能力。

2、把情态动词can的教学有机融入情景教学中。

三、学生分析(Students  analysis )

初一学生处于英语学习兴趣培养和学习习惯养成阶段。他们希望在学习过程中享受到乐趣,不希望老师死板地讲解字词及句型。能够激发他们好奇心和创造力,并与他们日常生活紧密相连的学习语境是他们希望教师在课堂上能呈现的东西。一旦教师走进他们的生活,他们就愿意跟着教师走,掌握文化知识,了解学习策略,形成良好的人生观和价值观。

四、教学媒体(Teaching aids)

充分利用多媒体、文本、图片和视频,并利用黑板、粉笔等教学媒体辅助教学,促进学生的有效学习。

五、教学过程(Teaching Procedures)

The First Period

Step 1  Lead--in

1.     Greetings .

2.     Ask some students about their birthdays:

When is your birthday?

Did you have a birthday party?

3.     T: Tomorrow is my birthday. Can you come to my birthday party? Can you sing? Can you dance? Can you play the guitar?

(通过复习Unit 8谈论生日的句型引入新课)

Step 2 . New words

1.  Present the new words:

(1)             Ask students to look at the picture on the screen. Then ask some questions: ①What’s he doing?(He is swimming.)②Can you swim?

(2)             Repeat the word“swim, s-w-i-m”several times (Then look at other pictures and teach other new words and phrases in the same way ,such as dance, swim, play, chess, paint, speak English and play the guitar)

2.Practice the new words

Task1: First, ask students to practice the sentence“I can sing, dance, swim, paint and speak English. But I can’t play chess or play the guitar. And you?”

Second ,ask students to match the words with the people in the picture in the textbook.

(通过练习can的肯定句和否定句,增加生词和复现率,加强记忆。)

Step 3 .Dirlls

1.  Present the new dirlls“Can you do it ?Yes,I can,/No I can’t”

2.  T:I can sing. Can you sing?

S: Yes .I can/No I can’t.(The teacher asks another two students to practice the  drills, and then write down the drills on the blackboard.)

T:Can you paint ?

S:Yes, I can .   No, I can’t.  

(通过师生问答呈新句型)

2.Practice the dirlls.

Show some pictures to the students and ask students to practice the conversation according to the pictures like this:

A: Can you speak English?

B: No, I can’t.             

(根据屏幕上的图片进行练习和巩固新句型)

Task2:Now work in pairs and fill in the chart. ( One student has chart A and the other student has chart B.)

2.Present the new dirll“I want to join the ……club.”

(引入情境,呈现新句型)

(Before the class, the teacher drew some pictures about the Art club, the English club, the Chess club, the Music club and the Swimming club, and put them up around the classroom)

T: In our class, there are five clubs. What are they? Do you know?

Ss: They are the Art club, the English club ,the chess club, the Music club and the Swimming club.

T:I can sing, so I want to join the music club. (Repeat this drill and then ask students to practice the drill like this.)

Step 4.Listening

Task 3: Let’s look at 1b, listen and number the conversations [1-3].(Play the recording and then check the answers.)

Step 5.Task 4:

T: Let’s make a survey in groups of eight. Tell your group members the clubs you want to join. Fill in the chart and then choose one student to make a report.

Step 6. Sum up

⑴Learn to say the chant.

⑵Sing the song “I can do”together.

(用多媒体呈现教师自编的chant,并把它演变成歌曲,便于学生记忆本课的重点词汇。)

Step7  Exercises:

[反思] 这节课设计的教学思路是:让学生运用多种方法操练句型 “I can do sth.I want to join the art club.”学会运用情态动词谈论自己的喜好与意愿及在某一方面所具备的才能。通过实践我有以下几点体会:

1、交际式教学:通过创设有利于学生全面主动发挥的各种交际实践活动,让学生相互合作,相互交流,确立学生在学习过程中的主体地位,帮助学生自主地学,自觉地学,让学生的各种潜能和创新精神得到充分的发挥。

2、运用多媒体辅助教学:多媒体集视听于一体,更直观更生动形象更具刺激性和吸引力,图片及音像资料有助于学生更直观地更具体地理解掌握教学内容,如生词的教学、目标语的呈现,也提高了课堂教学效率,增大了课堂容量。

3、采用“任务型”语言教学模式:“任务型”教学模式强调从学生的学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学途径,发展学生的语言运用能力,提高人文素养,增强实践能力,培养创新精神。本课在各教学环节设计了不同的“任务”如调查报告,招聘会,歌曲等,让学生在完成任务过程中使用目标语从而落实语言教学目标。

4、小组合作探究性学习:将学生分组,学生间的信息差产生了交流的必要性,推动了学生进一步合作交流,讨论彼此的能力和愿望。在合作中完成对重点词组、句型、对话的理解、训练和巩固。

5.游戏,唱歌等多种教学方式,激发兴趣提高教学效果。

本节课中让我感到不足的是新内容引入和操练时间稍少,设计的内容稍多,有些步骤较匆忙,在今后的教学中要注意教学形式和方法的多样化又要注意内容的紧凑准确。
