柳    园

    柳园是一个公园。柳园位于永济市城西区,东临河东大道,南隔富强路与永济电机厂世纪花园小区毗邻。是以柳宗元的名命名的，所以叫柳园。

    永济古称河东，位于山西省西南端，地处晋、秦、豫“黄河金三角”区域中心。秦、汉于此置河东郡，唐于此置河东道，历史悠久，人文荟萃，是柳氏文化的发祥地。在中国历史上，柳宗元是个性鲜明、彪炳一代的文化伟人，其人格、道德、文章堪称千古楷模。河东柳氏文化源远流长，而柳宗元文化是河东柳氏文化的精髓，进一步学习、研究、推介柳宗元文化，于现在和将来都具有重要意义。

近年来，永济市城市品位不断提升，进入四月和五月该市柳园、樱花园等公共场所桃红柳绿、春色满园，到处呈现出一片春意盎然，成为广大市民踏青、娱乐、休闲的好去处。

这次回到永济，于五月八日和同事朋友一起游览了柳园，享受柳园美景。
