教学目标

 

1.知识与技能  

  1)学生能在老师的帮助下理解 born,deaf,blind,university,writer,hope 等词

  2)学生能听懂并理解这个故事

  3)学生能回答关于故事的问题

  4)学生能复述故事

2.情感态度与价值观

    通过学习Helen Keller这位世界上着名身残志坚有志之人的优秀事迹,让学生学有所得,学有所悟,希望她的精神能激励和教育我们的学生在任何时候遇到艰难永不退缩。

3过程与方法

    通过借助图片,及老师的问题引导,使学生能一步步完成故事的阅读。


教学重点与难点:

 

重点:  学生能听懂并理解这个故事

       学生能回答关于故事的问题

       通过学习Helen Keller这位世界上着名身残志坚有志之人的优秀事迹,让学生学有所得,学有所悟,

 

难点 学生能复述故事


教学用具: 多媒体,录音机.

 

课前准备:

Play games

1.蒙上双眼,捉迷藏,(让学生东西是的感觉什么样?

2.戴上耳机,让学生听不见别人说话,而自己也不能说话的同时,做传话游戏。(让学生体会耳不能听,嘴不能说的心情)

 

教学过程

 

Class opening and review

1. Greeting

2. Review :用找朋友的方式复习动词过去式,为故事学习扫清一定的障碍 fall-fell become-became can-could Get-got  throw-threw  meet-met  take-took write-wrote begin-began go-went

3. Free talk

说说在课前游戏中,当你看不见,听不见,不能说话时的感觉和心情。如果是从出生后不久就看不见,听不见,不会说话该是一种生么样的感觉?如果你想把“水”这个字教给他该怎么教?告诉他什么是太阳又怎么办?今天我们就来阅读一个从很小就看不见,听不见,也不能说话的女孩怎么成为一个伟大的作家的故事。

New concepts

阅读故事

1.课件呈现一个小女婴出生的画面Say: A baby girl was born. Who is she?What happened when she was 18 months old?听第一幅图故事回答问题。

Who is she?(HelenKellerWhat happened when she was 18 months old?She fell ill and became deaf and blind),课件呈现生病画面, 再利用图片和deaf-can’t hear blind-can’t see 方式帮学生理解deaf he blind. 再让学生思考,一岁半,刚要开始学话,了解世界,就听不见,看不见了,她还能说话吗?不一定让学生回答。

 

2.呈现海伦父母图片,who are they? 然后提问:Could they help Helen? Why did Helen often get angry?听第二、三幅图录音回答问题。

 

   小结前三幅图故事内容When she was 18 months oldHelen fell ill and became deaf and blind.Her parents didn’t know how to help her. She couldn’t see anything.She couldn’t hear anything She couldn’t speak at all. She often got angry.

 

3.呈现Anne Sullivan 图片。SayWho is sheWhat is sheDid Helen like her? How did she teach Helen to learn the word”water”? 听第四五幅图故事回答问题。然后再问:Was Anne Sullivan great?

5.呈现Helen学习画面,ask: did Helen work hard ? 呈现大学图片,SayThis is an university. Did Helen go to university? When did she go to university? Did she become a writerWhat she wrote the book? 听第六七幅图故事回答问题。(解释hope一词)

 

   小结后五幅图故事:Helen met a teacher. The teacher helped her. But it’s very hard. One day,the teacher help her feel water and write it. Helen got it. From that day on, she work very hard. When she was 20 years old,she went to university. Later, she became a writer. She wrote the book The Story of My Life. Her story gives everyone hope.

 

朗读故事:先跟读,再小组大声朗读

 

讨论故事:Whatcan you learn fromhelen Keller ? (可以用汉语表达)

 

Check for Understanding

复述故事:集体复述,教师利用问题适当提醒。
