大部分形容词副词都有三个级别，即原级，比较级和最高级。究竟在什么情况下用这三个级别，怎样判断，下面就作一下归纳：

一、原级：

      A.  通常在very, too, quite, so, pretty 等词后;

      B.  通常在as...as,not so ... as, so ... that , such ... that,  too... to 等词中间

      1.She is very talent and he is quite clever.

      2.The street is pretty wide and the road is too narrow.

      3. This is so beautiful a picture and that is such an old photo.

      4. You are nearly as tall as he,but he isn't so heavy as you.

      5. My office is twice as big as yours.

     注意下列句型转换：

         1.  A. Kate and Lucy were born in the same year.

              B. Kate is   _____ old  ____ Lucy.

         2. A. He is 15 years old . I am 158 years old ,too.

             B. I am _____ old  ____ her.

         3. A. You don't have so long hair as hers.

              B. She has _____ hair  ______  yours.

              C. Your hair is ______  ______ hers.

         4. A. The box is so heavy that I can't carry it .

             B. The box is _____ heavy for me  ____ carry .

二、比较级：

(一）than 前:

         有以下几个句型应注意：

         1.Jinan is much larger than Zaozhuang.

         2. Shanghai is far bigger than any other city in Jiangsu.

         3. She is even younger than all the other students / anyone else /any of

            the otherstudents in her class.

         4. The students  of  No.8  Middle School are still more than those of

            No.1 Middle School.

         5. There is less water in the small bottle than that in the big one .

         6. It's easier to say than to do.

         7. Singing is more difficult than dancing.

         8. I'd stay at home rather than go out today.

         9. I'd rather sit than  stand.

         注意下列句型转换：

          A.  He is taller than any other student in our class. ( 同义句）

          B. He is _____ ______ student in our class. 

     注：比较级+than (1)any other +单数名词 （2）all the other +复数名词

        （3）anyone else (4)any of the other+复数名词

(二）the more, the better 结构：

        1.The harder you study,the more you'll get.

        2.The bigger the room is , the more it holds people.

        3.The colder it is , the less she wears.

(三） of the two / twins 结构：

          1. Lily is the fatter of the twins.

          2. Of the two boys Li Lei is the more foolish.

(四）比较级+ and +比较级结构：

          1.Our life is getting better and better.

          2. The country  becomes more and more beautiful.

(五) Which / who ......, A or B 结构：

         1. Which car is newer , the black one or the green one ?

         2. Who was worse yesterday , Li Lei or  Wei Hua?

注意下列修饰比较级的词汇：much,even far, still, a little, a bit, a great deal    

三、最高级：

（一） of / in / among 所引导的短语中：

         1. She sings best in her class.

         2. Of all the stars, the moon is the nearest  to us .

         3. He is the oldest of the three.

         4. The girl dances best among the students.

（二）which / who....... , A, B or C?

         1. Which is the biggest , the sun , the earth or the moon?

         2. Who is the shortest, Kate, Mary or Joan?

（三） one of the... / the second...结构：

         1.Beijing is one of the largest cities in the world.

         2. The Yellow River is the second  longest river in China.

注意修饰最高级的词：much, the , the very 等
