大家好，我是希尔顿营收管理部的Doris Ge, 于2009年加入上海希尔顿酒店，目前任市场分析师一职。

今年九月，我在日本度过了八天的假期，游玩了东京和横滨两座城市。这是我第三次去日本，选择日本主要是因为他的人文，美食和环境。

此行的第一站是东京，作为著名的购物天堂，你可以在东京买到想要的一切，不过大部分商品都比较昂贵，一定要理智消费。需要提醒大家的是，东京的商场一般在晚上9点就停止营业，想要购物的朋友最好提前做好计划。除了购物，我还游玩了东京迪士尼公园，他分为海洋馆和乐园两个场馆。海洋馆靠海，有许多刺激项目，比较适合情侣和年轻人。乐园则比较适合全家一起游玩，他更像一个童话王国。两个场馆在下午都有游行，海洋馆的游行在一个巨大的泳池进行，泳池里有5艘船，演员们在船上为大家带来精彩的表演。乐园的游行则是在陆地上，是比较常规的巡游。大家可以在巡游的过程中看到所有熟悉的卡通人物。晚上还可以欣赏到精彩的烟火表演。

第二站我们去了横滨，相对于东京，横滨比较安静，没那么拥挤，推荐大家去坐靠海的摩天轮，在上面可以欣赏到横滨全景。日本的街道非常干净，垃圾分类也很细，通常很少在街上设置垃圾桶，大家丢垃圾可以去便利店或随身准备一个小垃圾袋。

最后与所有想去日本的朋友分享一下我的旅行心得：

1.       日本人的英文水平普遍不高，不会日语的朋友可以用画图和写汉字的方式与当地人交流。

2.       点餐要适量，浪费食物在当地是一种不尊重人的行为。

3.       地铁上不要讲电话和吃东西，尽量保持安静。

Hi everyone! My name is Doris Ge and I am a market analyst in the revenue management department. I joined Hilton Shanghai in 2009.

This past September, I spent eight days in Tokyo and Yokohama. I visited Japan because of its culture, delicious food and the clean cities.

My first stop was Tokyo. As one of the top shopping cities, you can find everything you want here, but most things are expensive. You’ll have to properly budget! Also, most of the shopping malls in Tokyo close at 9:00pm so you have to start early! I also visited Tokyo Disneyland which includes two parks: Disney Sea and Disneyland. DisneySea is close to the ocean, with many exciting areas. It is more suitable for couples and children. Disneyland is better for family outings. There are parades in both DisneySea and Disneyland. The DisneySea parade has five boats in a huge swimming pool. The Disneyland parade is more of a traditional parade and happens in the streets of the amusement park. You will see all your favorite Disney characters in these parades. In the evening, you can also enjoy a fireworks show.

The second city I went to was Yokohama. When I compare it to Tokyo, Yokohama is quieter and less crowded. I recommend the Ferris wheel ride near the sea, which gives you with a great view of the entire city. The streets in Japan are very clean and the trash is divided into different categories. I also noticed there aren’t many trash cans!

Here are some useful tips for those who want to visit Japan:

1.       Most of the Japanese don’t really speak English so you might want to use drawings or Chinese characters to better communicate with them. Japanese people can read some Chinese characters!

2.       Don’t order too much food in restaurants! Leftover food is a sign of disrespect.

3.       Eating and talking on the phone in the subway are frowned upon!
