在中国工作,最重要的是要学会如何与其他同事正确地沟通。交流是关键!这些年,我不仅了解了新的文化,还学会了如何与中国人一起工作。中国人的工作方式与我之前的工作方式有很大差别,刚开始我觉得很难适应,但现在已经变得越来越容易了。 -
你有什么好的建议给那些想要成为厨师的人吗?
我想我对于你第一个问题的回答就是我给他们最好的建议。你必须对成为厨师抱有极大的热情。向你身边的同事学习并不断接受新的知识。尽全力去学习一切你所能学的东西,因为这些知识将帮你成为一名更出色的厨师。不要怕犯错,要敢于去尝试新的东西。而且要永远保持谦虚。

The most and let's say first thing you can learn in kitchen, is actually that you need to passionate and love this profession because enjoying what you do is going to be the biggest satisfaction and reward from being a chef. You need to be dedicated and devoted because the hours can be long!

What is one of the most important lessons you’ve learned in China?
In China, the best lesson I’ve learned is to be clear and communicate well. Communication is key! Not only did I have to learn about a new culture, but I had to learn how to work with Chinese people and their working styles. It was different from what I was used to. In the beginning it was difficult, but it became easier. -
What advice can you give to those who want to be chefs?
My response to the first question is also a great answer for this question. You must follow your passion as a chef! Learn from your colleagues and be open-minded. Learn as much as you can because it will allow you to be a better chef. It’s ok to make mistakes and experiement! Always remember to be humble!
