Hilton Shanghai joins the the global race to preserve and improve the earth’s ecological condition with the use of environmentally-sound materials in the presentation of moon cakes for this year’s Mid Autumn Festival.

The mooncake box is made from imported recycled board paper, certified by the FSC Forest Stewardship Council. Hilton is among the first in the country to employ this environmentally-sound practice packaging in the hope that this pioneering effort will raise awareness of the importance of managing the world’s natural resources to save the planet for future generations. To further help in achieving this universal goal, for every box of Hilton Moon Cake purchased, the hotel will donate RMB10 to the conservation effort of World Wide Fund for Nature in the Wild Giant Panda Habitat in Qinling Mountain.
