宁宇，原名王宁宇。一九三五年生，江苏无锡人。中国作家协会会员，上海作家协会理事。曾任上海市文学艺术界联合会研究室主任，《电视、电影、文学》杂社主编，编审。上海大学文学院客座教授。五十年代开始文学创作。出版了《海琴》、《竹梦》、《云曲》、《宁宇诗选》等多部诗集。作品收进各种选集，并翻译到国外。
Ning Yu, with
the original name of Wang Ningyu. born in 1935, is a native of
Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He is a member of China Writers’
Association and syndic of Shanghai Writers’ Association. He was
director of Shanghai Literature and Art League and chief editor,
compiler of magazine office named Video, Movie, Literature. He is
the visiting professor of Literature Institute of Shanghai
University. His literary creation began in 1950s. He has published
a great number of poetry collections including The Sea Harp, The
Bamboo Dream, The Song of Cloud and Selected Verses By Ningyu etc.
His works have been collected into many selected verses collections
and introduced to foreign
countries.
