Don Fernandez Carmenere 2004  

In the year 1493,Christopher Columbus brought the grapes from Spain to America, however it was in the year 1548 when the grapes were distributed to Chile by the Spanish Marqus "Don Fernandez" who was well known on the culture of the wine. Don Fernandez found the best place in the Central Valley to grwo grapes and produce the best wine that it was drunk only in the family circle during many hundred years.However, since the last few years this pleasure was passed to the consumers around the world giving the opporunity to enjoy this unique taste.

Tasting notes
Color: Intense red color of great personality.
Aroma: Its nose is mineral.With red fruit such as blackberries and also red pepper. The vegetal shades typical of this variety are very diminished.
Flavor:Very round body thanks to its ripe tannins and very long finish.
General comment: It is a young easy to drink wine characterized by smoothness and complexity.
