威斯康星州---大中西部地区的冬季中心地带！！！
 
    尽管寒冷并多雪（对于北美大多数地区冬季而言），威斯康星州不仅拥有夏季的风情和秋季的美景，还向游客们呈现出美国生活的另一面。谈论奶酪，牛奶，玉米棒和鱼仔煲！！从高档牛排馆到当地特色菜，威斯康星州应有尽有。在这里，你还可以生动地感受到所有季节 - 从壮观的冬季，人们可以享受运动所带来的乐趣，如冰球和滑雪，到美丽的春、夏两季，威斯康星为游客们提供了多样的选择。

    我最喜欢的两处威斯康星州景区：

1.  威斯康星德尔斯---夏季儿童和成人家庭聚会地方的首选。众所周知的“德尔斯”是一个深受游客喜爱的地方，在这里您可以找到水上公园、游乐园、博物馆，也可以享用到当地美食和中西部地区的美味 - 玉米棒，棉花糖或超棒的老式奶酪！在威斯康星德尔斯，你可以看到一些非常有趣和不同寻常的去处，其中一个地方可以让人处于失重状态！！！在一所屋子内，水会从地面逆流，你在这里的体重也会比在其他地方轻，这对很多人来说都是一个极大的慰籍http://www/uc/myshow/blog/misc/gif/E___6726EN00SIGG.gif。这里还有很多室内水上乐园。我家最喜欢的要属卡拉哈里度假胜地---美国最大的室内游泳池。这里全年开放，你可以尽情地在全年任何时候享受夏日里的活动。详情见www.kalahariresorts.com

    我在芝加哥居住的时候，威斯康星德尔斯是我和家人最喜欢的去处。我们每个夏季都会去那里，百去不厌，尽情地享受当地的美食以及那里热情好客的威斯康星人。

2.  门郡---一块非常狭长的伸入密歇根湖（Lake Michigan）的土地, 位于威斯康星州北部,这就是门郡。这是一个夫妇们为寻求非商业、安静、浪漫度假的热门之地。这里有引以为豪的经典小木屋，是一个景色优美的地方，在夏季和秋季犹为动人。在这里，您可以享受到很多运动，从白水漂流，到在小木屋中凉快一下。沿密歇根湖和多尔半岛水域而下，小小的门郡为寻求经典美式生活的游客们提供了独特的体验。一道美味的名叫鱼仔煲的经典中西部菜也是门郡众多吸引人的原因之一。它是由各种蔬菜和新鲜的海洋鱼类烹制而成，简单而味美可口。这道中西部地区的菜肴有很多种口味，可以是辣味的，也可以是简单“鱼”味的！

         WISCONSIN – The Winter heartland of the Great Midwest !!!

While cold and snowy (for most of the winter season in North America), Wisconsin offers not only spectacular Summer and Fall season attractions but also offers a different side of American  living to tourists. Talk about Cheese, Milk, Corn on the Cob or Fish bowls!! From high end Steak houses to local specialties, Wisconsin has it all.  One can also enjoy all the seasons vividly here - from spectacular winter season where one can enjoy sports such as ice hockey and skiing, to beautiful spring and summer seasons, Wisconsin offers many choices to tourists.

Two of my favorite places in Wisconsin are:

1． Wisconsin Dells – primarily a summer family fun spot for children and adults alike. Popularly known as ‘The Dells’ , the place is a popular with tourists looking for water parks, amusement parks, museums, local cuisine , Midwest delicacy - corn on the cob, cotton candies or simply good old Cheese! . There are also very interesting and unusual places one can see in Wisconsin Dells, one of them being a place where gravity, as we know it, does not work!!!  There is actually a house in Dells where water flows upwards from the ground and you weigh less than your usual weight, a great comfort to many of ushttp://www/uc/myshow/blog/misc/gif/E___6726EN00SIGG.gif. The place has many indoor water parks too. My family’s favorite is the Kalahari Resorts – the largest indoor pool place in USA.  It is open year round so you can enjoy summer season activities all year round www.kalahariresorts.com
 
When I lived in Chicago, Wisconsin Dells was our family favorites we visited every summer. We never got tired of visiting the Dells and thoroughly enjoyed the local cuisine and hospitality of the people of Wisconsin.

2． Door County – a very narrow strip of land jutting into Lake Michigan in Northern Wisconsin makes up for the Door county. It is a popular destination for couples looking for a non commercial, quiet and romantic getaway. Boasting some classic log cabins, this is a very scenic place, beautiful during Summer and Fall seasons.  You can enjoy many sports here, like white water rafting to simply chilling in a log cabin. Running along the waters of Lake Michigan and Door peninsula, the small Door county offers a unique experience to visitors looking for classic American living experience. Among its other attractions, it also offers the classic Midwest dish called the Fish Bowl.  A simple yet tasty dish made from a variety of vegetables and fresh water sea fish, this Midwest delicacy comes in many flavors from spicy to simply – fishy!
