With the recent snowfall, summer may feel like a long ways off, but it will be here before you know it!

We have seen people recently who applied for Summer work Travel (SWT) for December, January, and or February.  Sorry, but SWT is for only summer months.  Students and New Zealand are applying for SWT travel for the first time this year.  They are in the Southern Hemisphere, of course, and this is their summer season.

While SWT is a great opportunity to go to the United States and experience our culture, please remember that the SWT travel dates must fit within your university's summer vacation.  As you consider applying for SWT, please explicitly tell the company representatives what your summer vacation is, and remind them that you must be back in China to attend your fall semester classes.
