“VOGUE摩登不夜城”全球时尚盛会9月11日

a global celebration of fashion,

to be held on

September 10th 2009

 

21st May 2009, Beijing China In a bold global initiative the international editions of VOGUE will be partnering with designers, department stores and boutiques to create Fashion’s Night Out, an evening extravaganza to be held around the world on the 10th or 11th September 2009.

 

From Beijing to Paris, New York to Mumbai, and London to Milan, VOGUE editors, models, celebrities and retailers will gather to celebrate the fashion industry and to raise shopping spirits as they take part in their respective cities’ special events.  Fashion’s Night Out is a far-reaching project intended to emphasise the creativity, pleasure and joy that fashion offers.

 

Angelica Cheung, editorial director of VOGUE China, comments, “This worldwide activity is to remind us all that fashion is to be enjoyed and to mark the contribution that the shopping environment makes to all our lives.  We’re delighted to be in a position at VOGUE to undertake this enterprise and to bring retailers and shoppers together in Beijing for this unprecedented feel-good occasion.  In these difficult economic times we want to reward the spirit of enterprise and imagination that the fashion industry encapsulates. And we are happy to take this opportunity to introduce today’s Chinese fashion to more consumers.

 

Department stores, flagship fashion stores, boutiques will come together to offer shoppers this unique experience, with activities to include one-off events, limited edition special items, celebrities’ personal appearances, extended shopping hours and visual excitement to inspire.

 

All participating editions of VOGUE will concurrently be linking this event with their individual online sites and their magazines with a high-profile marketing campaign.  In addition to China, other countries staging Fashion’s Night Out will include the United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Germany, Greece, India, Russia and Japan. Full country-by-country information will be uploaded to a web address to be announced shortly.

 

VOGUE, founded in 1892, is the world’s pre-eminent fashion magazine.  It is now published in 17 different markets, and works with the most talented writers, photographers and stylists to celebrate the culture of the country in which they operate.

 

2009年9月11日,最具影响力的国际权威时尚杂志《VOGUE》将举办一场空前的全球性时尚盛会—“VOGUE摩登不夜城”(Fashion’s Night Out),作为《VOGUE》杂志全球知名版本之一的中国版,《VOGUE服饰与美容》联合此次活动合作伙伴国贸商城、北京银泰中心悦·生活PARK LIFE、金融街购物中心及王府半岛酒店,以及众多品牌、设计师和媒体合作代表于7月16日在北京柏悦酒店召开新闻发布会,共同见证了“VOGUE摩登不夜城”盛会的启动。

 

“VOGUE摩登不夜城”全球盛会由拥有众多国际版本的《VOGUE》杂志发起,并联合国际知名设计师、顶尖奢侈品牌、大型百货公司和时尚精品店共同打造。从北京至米兰,从伦敦至巴黎,从纽约至孟买,13个时尚之都,包括美国、英国、法国、意大利、西班牙、德国、希腊、印度、俄罗斯、日本、韩国、中国台湾及中国版《VOGUE》杂志的编辑,与众多明星、模特、名流及零售商在9月11日这个欢腾之夜齐齐汇聚,共同为时尚产业鼓劲喝彩。他们将亲自参与各自所在城市的特别活动,以专业时尚人士的非凡影响力,激发民众的购物热情。作为一场意义深远的盛会,“VOGUE摩登不夜城”的鲜明主题表现为彰显时尚所带来的创意、愉悦与欢乐。

 

届时,《VOGUE服饰与美容》将与北京四大顶级高端百货公司联手为消费者提供独一无二的时尚体验:当晚,国贸商城将以充满艺术感的“Fashion & Art”(时尚与艺术交融)作为主题,与北京银泰中心悦·生活PARK LIFE颇具创意的“A Toast to Fashion…”(时尚夜宴)主题交相辉映,王府半岛酒店和金融街购物中心也将分别结合自身特色,推出极富个性的“The Peninsula Shopping Experience”(半岛购物行)和”双喜盈门”特别策划。

 

此外,以上合作商场还将在当晚延长营业时间,并特设多个别具创意的互动体验环节。《VOGUE服饰与美容》更是力邀Phillip Lim、Anna Sui、Alexander Wang、Jason Wu四位顶尖华裔国际设计师为此次中国活动独家设计四款环保购物袋限量发售,售卖所得将全部捐献给环保基金以支持公益事业。
